Before first use, read and follow the supplied operating instructions and the manufacturer’s safety instructions in full.
Wear personal protective equipment
As required for the task, wear eye protection, hearing protection, protective gloves and safety footwear. Wear close-fitting clothing, tie back long hair and remove jewellery or anything else that could become caught in the machine.
Crushing and entanglement hazard
Keep body parts away from moving components. Never reach under or into the machine while it is running. Maintain a safe distance.
Trained operators only
The machine may be operated only by instructed persons who are physically and mentally fit. Do not work under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication, or with any condition that impairs concentration.
Maintenance and repair
Perform maintenance, cleaning and repairs only when the machine is stationary and its drive is disconnected. Repairs must be carried out only by qualified personnel.
Intended use
Do not overload the machine. Use it only within the manufacturer’s specified operating range and for its intended purpose. Use original spare parts and accessories only.
Equipment-specific instructions
- Crushing hazard between levers and between former and pipe; keep hands on the handles only.
- Use only bending formers that match the pipe diameter; incorrect inserts can slip.
- Do not extend the handles or overload the tool because sudden breakage can release force.
- Inspect the tool for cracks, deformation and wear before use.
- Maintain secure footing and leave sufficient clearance behind the pipe.
